Hadia shares with you the culmination of 40 years of invaluable knowledge and experience in this intensive MUST DO 55 hour training for any dedicated dancer hoping to make her mark in the world of oriental dance.

Experience the joy of interpreting, improvising and dancing to traditional oriental instruments played by Montreal’s most distinguished musicians! Plus Don’t Miss Our “Gala Orientale”– Sunday Aug 15 with Hadia, Fady and Orchestra plus our Professional Course Dancers!
The Ultimate Technique Training and “Making the Most of your Music” are open to all students of an intermediate level and higher. Attendance is strictly limited to 35 students! NO DVD AUDITION REQUIRED.
Successful participants for the Professional Course will be chosen from their Audition video or DVD (Oriental or Baladi) which must be submitted by June 15, 2010. A maximum of 20 students will be accepted into the Professional Course. Final hours TBA
5th Annual Professional Oriental Dance Training – Ultimate Technique Week and Making the Most of your Music Workshop schedule information
My 5th Annual Professional Oriental Dance Training returns to Montreal with a phenomenal new program for August 9th to 20th, 2010.
The entire 55 hour program will include my 20 hour Ultimate Technique week, (which can also be take separately from August 9th to 13th and is open to all dancers intermediate level and higher on a first registered first serve basis) with a brand new section of folkloric study to the respective rhythms and more focus on improvisational skills.
We have added a great new 10 hour component including business basics, making an appearance, professionalism and presentation, contract negotiation along with the individual sessions of critiquing and improving individual presentation and performance skills PLUS communication with and improvisation to live music. This will be a day time class for 2 hours per day which will run during the same week as the technique week (Aug. 9th to 13th).
Then our fabulous 10 hour weekend workshop on the 14/15th of August “Making the Most of your Music” is part of the full professional training, but can also be taken separately by intermediate level and higher students on a first-to- register basis). This amazing workshop has expanded to a complete 8 piece orchestra, which will include improvisation to the individual instruments, qanoun, violin, accordion, nai, and oud, plus selected oriental music pieces for study of specific components, such as musical phrasing, dynamics, maqams. We will also focus on rhythms study, improvisation and improvisational structure for drum solo, as well as cane/saidi.
The weekend will include the grand finale gala performance featuring a full 9 piece orchestra, the participants of the professional training and yours truly.
The final four days of the pro course will focus on 15 hours of musical interpretation within the framework of a beautiful new choreography.
We are currently arranging some very convenient and affordable accommodation options for you and will have that information up on line very soon. Remember, no auditions required for the Ultimate Technique Week or the amazing Make the Most of your Music workshop with our brilliant Orchestra but I do recommend that you get your registrations in as soon as possible to ensure your spot. Please note that I encourage all Pro Course participants to send along your DVD auditions and music selections along with your course deposits as soon as possible so that the orchestra will be able to do a phenomenal presentation of your music for our Gala Performance!!

La joie de danser improviser et interpréter les instruments traditionnels qanun, oud, nai, violon, accordéon et la percussion avec Fady Akiki et les plus distingués de Montréal suivi par notre spectacle exceptionnel “Soirée Orientale” – Dimanche le 15 Aout avec Hadia, Fady et l’orchestra plus nos danseuses internationales!
La formation de la technique ainsi que le stage avec les musiciens sont ouverts à tout élève a partir du niveau intermédiaire et strictement limitée à 35 personnes incluant celles de la formation complète donc Première inscrite – première servie! PAS D’AUDITION EXIGEE!!! Un maximum de 20 élèves pour la formation professionnelle qui seront choisies par un vidéo/DVD d’audition à soumettre avant le 15 juin.
5e Formation Professionnelle en Danse Orientale – dates et infos!
Notre Formation Professionnelle complet aura lieu du 9 au 20 Aout à Montréal. On commence avec la Semaine de Technique Ultime avec les cours du soir du 9 au 13. Cette semaine fait partie du la formation complet mais est ouvert aussi a toutes danseuses du niveau intermédiaire et plus au bas du premier inscrit, premier servi.
Nouveau cette année, nous aurions des cours de 10 heures vers l’heure du midi pour les stagiaires professionnelles. Ces cours aussi du 9 au 13, compris le professionnalisme, la présentation artistique, l’improvisation, la préparation de numéro pour le spectacle ainsi que les in informations et formulaire pratique.
Ensuite nous aurions notre stage exceptionnel « Maîtriser Votre Musique » avec un orchestre de 8 musiciens les 14 et 15. Le weekend fait partie a la formation professionnelle complet, mais on accepte quelques élèves d’un niveau intermédiaire selon la disponibilité des places. Un DVD d’audition n’est pas exigé pour la semaine technique ni le stage du weekend.
Le weekend se termine avec notre gala spectacle avec un orchestre de 9 maitres musiciens, Hadia et les danseuses de la formation professionnelle. Plus d’infos à venir bientôt!
On termine les derniers 4 jours de la formation entière avec 15 heures des cours au bas d’une nouvelle chorégraphie sublime de Hadia.

N’oubliez pas que les auditions ne sont pas exiges pour la Semaine Technique Ultime ni le stage du weekend avec notre orchestre, mais je vous conseille toutes d’envoyer vos inscriptions des que possible pour assurer votre place!
