I would like to thank you for your interest in our 4th Annual Summer Oriental Dance Training Programmes. In celebration of the beauty of my new home, all events will be held in both Halifax and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia – the Gem of the Atlantic Maritime provinces!
To best accommodate everyone’s schedules, our Ultimate Technique Training will be a 15 hour intensive, compressed into Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, July 3rd to 5th.
Classes will be held at a lovely spacious studio in the Halifax, the capital city and we are sorting out the best possible accommodation options for you at this time. All details will be posted here, as soon as all are 100% finalized.

I have finally been able to sort out a couple of very good options for accommodations in Halifax . The best option is the Commons Inn, which is a smallish but very cool place about 15 minutes walking or a quick bus hop from the studio downtown. I spoke with Jeffrey and he has also agreed to a discount of 10% for 10 rooms and 15% for 15 rooms etc. Here is the site to have a peek at the place and their toll free number is 1 877 797-7999 http://www.commonsinn.ca Once again, please mention Hadia’s dance group for the potential discount.
For those who don’t mind roughing it, another alternative is the student dorms at Dalhousie University . The rooms are simple single bed, with a large shared bathroom facilities for several rooms. The single is about $38 and 2 beds is about $60 per night. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the studio.

Then on Sunday evening after class, we will head off to my home town, Lunenburg, a world renowned and absolutely gorgeous UNESCO World Heritage Site (then you will understand why I moved here!).
I have been very busy selecting and negotiating the best place in town with the best price for you and am happy to say that we will be at the BLUENOSE LODGE, VICTORIAN INN & SUITES. This amazing place has a gorgeous big dining room that will be for our use as a studio during the week, beautiful rooms with period furnishings, several quiet and comfortable lounging areas for our use, a scrumptious buffet breakfast every morning included in the room rate, email access AND it is right across the street from my place!

I am working on arranging a few short trips to see the natural beauty of the area and perhaps a Friday night performance in one of out local venues!
I am also hoping to set up a restaurant hafla/performance in Halifax on Saturday the 4th, as well as a performance in one of Lunenburg’s or Mahone Bay’s venues on Friday the 10th.
